Premium Quality Photos on Metal - Made in Canada!
Printing your image directly on metal creates jaw dropping results like nothing you have seen before. Because we print right on the metal, your photos take on a brilliant sheen that traditional printing on paper or canvas can't deliver. The metal flashes through to create a distinct look that will catch your eye from every angle.
Incredible & Innovative Photo Art
In addition to the bold look, our metal prints are also lightweight and extremely rigid. We achieve this by sandwiching polystyrene between two brushed aluminum sheets. Our UV stable inks create a finished product that is highly fade resistant and thus suitable for hanging both indoors and outdoors. We also recommend metal prints to create eye-popping signage, advertisements, presentations, & more.
Ready to Display
To further embellish your unique metal art, we have three different hanging systems available. Our Float Mount System is the most popular option, producing a super clean look. Our Standoff Kit is perfect for adding an industrial edge to your artwork. For a more traditional look, we also offer brushed black or silver metal frames in most sizes. Either way, the final result on your wall...absolutely stunning!
A Flash of Brilliance
If you are really looking to turn heads with your photographs, then Metal Prints are definitely for you. With vivid colours and the flash of bare metal, you are certain to get the modern, bold effect that you desire.
Options to Hang Your Metal Print

Where does posterjack Ship To?
Posterjack.ca ships to anywhere in Canada. We do not ship to any other countries at this point in time. All shipping takes place through Fedex.
How much does shipping cost?
Our standard shipping rate is $8.50. This is a flat rate and applies to your entire order, regardless of the quantity or size. A rural delivery surcharge of $20 is applied to remote addresses, due to the higher costs of delivering to rural areas. This charge only applies if the second digit in your postal code is deemed rural or if you live in North West Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut.
Is my Metal Print going to arrive in good condition?
All orders are packaged with our time-tested, super-tough packaging materials. Less than 1% of our packages are damaged. However, all of our shipments are fully insured, so should any damage occur during shipment, you are completely covered.
How long does it take you to produce my Metal Print?
Metal Prints take 5-7 business days to produce. This is an AVERAGE time. If we have a big rush of orders, it can take longer than the time listed. Please bear in mind that each piece of art is a custom product that needs to be produced.
How long will it take until my package arrives?
Once we ship your item, we'll send you a tracking number immediately. If you'd like more information, please see our Production & Shipping Page
Our Free Quality Check!
The very first thing we do is take a look at your image resolution, compare this with the chosen print size, and give you a free quality score for printing (shown on the first screen after uploading). No more second guessing if your image is suitable to print large! If your score isn't as high as you would like, you can try switching to a smaller print size. If your score is unsuitable, that means we won't let you proceed as print results will not be acceptable. In this case, please choose a smaller print size, a higher resolution image, or contact customer support for further help.
What type of file should I upload?
We process all common image formats. Normally your digital camera or your graphic design program will produce these formats. These include JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, etc. Our preferred image type is JPEG, which produces excellent print results! We do not accept PDF documents.
If you aren't a big colour geek, don't worry, your camera produces images in a colour space we can handle (typically sRGB). If you prefer you can also upload images in Adobe RGB, or any other popular RGB Colour Profile. Please do not upload images in the CMYK colour space.
How large of a file can I upload?
You can upload files up to 50 MB in size. Should your images be larger than 50 MB, the best place to start would be checking they are saved in JPEG format (TIFF's generally produce larger file sizes, at no real advantage for print quality). If you need further assistance with file sizing, please contact us for details.
What is a metal print?
A metal print is a product that is unique to posterjack. We print your photo or image directly onto a special metal sheet called Alu-Dibond. Then we cut out your piece of art using a special CAD cutting machine for a crisp and clean piece of modern art. Alu-Dibond is made from two sheets of aluminum and a polystyrene core. This means that Metal Prints are lightweight and extremely rigid.
How will the colours turn out on my Metal Print?
Because we are printing on a metal base (brushed aluminum) as opposed to a white base such as paper, the colours will be a little bit different than what you would get on paper. Due to this we can’t guarantee 100% colour accuracy. What we can guarantee are very vibrant, rich and pleasing colours that are very true to the original. Keep in mind that the point of a metal print is to have something unique, so if exact colour matching is required, we'd suggest you try a different product!
Does the bare metal show through?
The bare metal shows through in areas where pure white is found in the photograph. When viewed in combination with the other colours printed on the sheet, the metal itself tricks the eye into looking a lot whiter than it actually is. The result is something totally unique and eye-catching!
Will a black and white photo look good on metal?
Black and White images look absolutely amazing on metal! The contrast between the deep blacks and the bright metal create a very vivid piece of art! We especially recommended this for shows and exhibits when you want your art to fly off the walls and into customer's hands!
How do I hang my Metal Print on the wall?
We offer a choice of four great hanging options. Choose our popular float mount for a clean look. Choose our standoff kit for a more industrial look. Choose from either our brushed black or brushed silver frames for a more traditional look. These hanging options are chosen after you upload your image!
Will any of my photo be cropped during the metal production process?
When your metal print is cut out from the large metal sheet, the specialized machinery will cut one eighth (1/8)of an inch from the perimeter of your photo. For this reason, we do not recommend putting any logos or text right to the very edge of your image!
